Matt Polzin is a fiction writer, scholar of queer longing, amateur cellist, and a gluten-free baker. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from California Institute of the Arts, and is currently a PhD Candidate at University of California, Santa Cruz. His fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in print in Chicago Quarterly Review, Indiana Review, and Third Coast Magazine. He also co-wrote the feature film Estuaries, which screened at Frameline Film Festival and Outfest this summer. Born and raised in Michigan, he lives in Oakland, California.
