Matt Polzin is a fiction writer, screenwriter, scholar of queer longing, amateur cellist, and a gluten-free baker. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from California Institute of the Arts, and is currently a PhD Candidate at University of California, Santa Cruz. His fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in print in Chicago Quarterly Review, Indiana Review, and Third Coast Magazine. Born and raised in Michigan, he lives in Oakland, California.
